FAQ's:
1. Do I have to be a full time employee or can I be a part time employee?
A: Home health aides are listed as PRN (or as needed) upon employment. This allows the employee to be able to be flexible with the amount of hours they want to work. With other employee positions, the hours are determined per the job requirement.
2. Do I require a HHA or CNA certification to work as a home health aide?
A: Scott's home healthcare does require all home health aides be a certified home health aide per Medicaid requirements. However, if you are not already certified, Scott's employs a contracted nurse practitioner that can certify you. If you already have your CNA, this is a smooth transition. CNAs just need to speak with human resources about what will be needed.
3. Do I need to have a high school diploma to work as a home health aide?
A: Home health aides are not required to be a high school graduate. However, they must currently be a certified home health aide or go through certification with agency's contracted nurse practitioner (see above).
4. What documentation does the agency need from me if I'm hired?
A: If the agency hires you for any position, human resources will need to perform background checks and will need a copy of your driver's license, social security card or birth certificate, and auto insurance. Any other documentation needed will be discussed upon hire or during orientation.

Company |
Scott's Home Healthcare was founded in 2012 by the Scott family (Mother Bonnie and her children Mike, Jenny, John, Jerry, Debbie, Ken, Amy, and Shawn). What started as a small family gathering for Amy's 40th birthday became an idea for a business. The family has grown the business into what it is today and they still continue to help in any way they can.
